George Darks is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. If you have an active project, you can send a privacy request through your project chat. Otherwise, contact George Darks through WhatsApp.
Information handled on this website
The checkout details form stores your name, email address, brand name, phone number and garment type in your browser session so you can continue through checkout. When you continue to Stripe, the selected package, add-ons and your email address are sent to Stripe to create the payment session. The other details in the form remain in your browser unless you share them with George Darks through project chat or WhatsApp.
If you choose to save a project brief, the details you enter—including your name, email address, brand and garment details, project description, reference links, target date, help preferences and attached files—are stored in your browser on your device. The project brief form does not currently send its entries or files to George Darks. To share project information, use your project chat or WhatsApp. Saved browser drafts remain on your device until you remove them or clear the relevant browser data.
If you contact George Darks through WhatsApp, Instagram or a project chat, we receive the information and files you choose to send. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your project.
Stripe processes the Checkout Session and payment information. We may see basic order and payment details in Stripe, but this website does not collect or store your full card details. Cal.com processes information you provide when booking a call.
When this website is hosted through Vercel, Vercel may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, request timestamps and server logs to deliver, monitor and protect the site.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses browser storage for functions you choose, including keeping checkout details for your browser session, saving a project draft on your device and remembering your analytics preference. Microsoft Clarity analytics is loaded only if you accept analytics. If accepted, Clarity may use cookies and similar technologies to record visits, clicks, scrolling and session replays. Website forms are configured to mask form entries, and advertising storage is denied. You can change your analytics choice at any time using Cookie settings.
Why we use information
We use information shared with us through project chat or communication services to respond to requests, discuss and deliver projects, provide customer support and keep records of our work. The legal basis is generally taking steps at your request or performing a contract, or our legitimate interests in managing and protecting the service.
We use transaction records to manage payments and meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations. We use Microsoft Clarity analytics only with your consent, which you can withdraw through Cookie settings.
Who receives information
Information may be handled by service providers that support the website and services:
- Vercel for website hosting and infrastructure.
- Stripe for payment checkout.
- Cal.com for appointment bookings.
- WhatsApp and Instagram/Meta if you choose to contact us through those services.
- Microsoft and Microsoft Clarity for analytics when you consent.
These providers may handle some information under their own privacy terms and may act as independent controllers for some of their processing.
International processing
Some service providers may process information in countries outside the UK. Their privacy notices and service terms explain where they process data and the safeguards they use for international transfers. How long information is kept
Checkout details in session storage remain on your device until the browser session ends or you clear that storage. Project brief drafts and attachments saved in your browser remain there until you delete them or clear the relevant browser data; George Darks cannot access them through the brief form.
Information you share with us through a project chat or communication service is kept for as long as needed to manage your request or project, provide support and meet accounting, tax or other legal obligations. We keep payment and accounting records for the periods required by law. Provider retention periods may be set by those providers.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances and the legal basis for processing, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its use, or receive certain information in a portable format. You can withdraw consent to analytics at any time through Cookie settings. To make a privacy request, message George Darks through your project chat or WhatsApp.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office using its complaint service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If we make a material change to how we use personal information, we will update this policy before starting that new use.
